I don't think the Mc canns 'neglected' their children. They shouldn't have left them alone but neglect is a long term on going thing. I don't think Jamie Bulger was neglected either. The pack on here that have bayed blood towards the Mc canns will never change their minds - their choice. Either way one child died and the other is missing neither mum is at fault and neither mum deserves to blamed for what happened. I have said many times that leaving the children unattended does not mean that they were abused, neglected, malnourished unloved etc etc.But it was wrong. This doesn't mean to say that she didn't love Maddie regardless of what the do gooders on here say. As a mother I could never say to another mother that they deserve to lose the child unless the child was abused or ill treated. There is no evidence to suggest other than the Mccanns were loving parents who didn't ill treat Maddie. Making that decision to leave them alone has cost them dearly. And I still con't undertstand why the baying crowd don't slate the other diners for leaving their children also. Apparently because they didn't get abducted means that it is acceptable. If they all did the same 'crime' of leaving their children unnatended then they should all face the same accusations of child neglect whether the children went missing or not

Cat had blood on rear after using litter box?

I adopted my cat from the shelter a few years ago. She had acquired the feline version of the herpes virus in her eye from living at the shelter, and has had some issues because of it: Diarrhea, sensitive stomach, eye problems...etc. yesterday, I notice she threw up quite a few times... but this is not unusual for her. But I did notice that it looked like she coughed up two hairballs. However, after that she seemed fine. Today she seems normal except I noticed after she went upstairs to use her liter box she had some bright red blood on her anus. I ran upstairs to check her box, but she has already buried it and I couldn't find any blood in the liter box. She isn't acting sick and seems to be eating normal. I'm really worried about her, and I don't know how soon I'll be able to get her into the vet. Is this serious? I had a pet die tragically two years ago, and I don't know if I could take another one dieing on me. I'm so worried. Any ideas what could be wrong?

Hi I got seven 3 day old indian runner ducklings from efowl. One duckling was perfectly fine and running around but then he started limping and now he can still run but only for short seconds before having to lay down. I picked him up and I notice his foot is scrunched up. Is there anything I can do to fix this? Is it serious that he could die, I can't take him to the vet it's to pricey. Interlock device in Florida?

my sister lives with me. she is eligable to get her license reinstated after 5 yr. revocation (2nd offense within 5 yrs). we went to DMV today and had notarized court papers with us showing the court did NOT indicate interlock necessity. guy at DMV said state mandates. my sister does NOT have a car and no money to buy one at this time. i was told I can put it on MY car (even though she will never be driving it) for the year - which means I'D have to blow into the thing every time I use my car. Sounds like a panic attack, and they suck and they often are described the same as the people that have real heart attacks. If you are 18 then your heart is probably fine but even if you know 100% that its just a panic attack they dont just go away and i would recommend going to a doctor let them know whats going on and they can give you something that helps the pain/palpitations/sickness, i hate the doctor and i hate taking pills but panic attacks are one thing i refuse to deal with on my own.

I have a deck of like 600 cards, probably a bit more than that. I know they're not really worth tons, maybe I could get like 30 bucks maybe 40 for the deck. My main question was about 3 cards I have. What my local animal shelter did was have this "party" thing, I didn't go but I saw it on the news and on their website and I guess they had their dogs running around or something and games and food, something to attract visitors you know. :) Maybe you get a classified ad in the newspaper advertising it, or a attractive sign in a popular local shop or just in the community where people put yard sale signs promoting it. Hi I got seven 3 day old indian runner ducklings from efowl. One duckling was perfectly fine and running around but then he started limping and now he can still run but only for short seconds before having to lay down. I picked him up and I notice his foot is scrunched up. Is there anything I can do to fix this? Is it serious that he could die, I can't take him to the vet it's to pricey. It doesn't sound like something I'd read, but it does sound like something other people would read. I mean that in a good way! It does leave the prospective reader wondering what the mystery surrounding this Riley is, and what's going to happen to Desiree. The only thing is, though, I sometimes find introducing too many names distracting - I feel like I have to remember them all. First get the 2011 yugioh starter deck to get some synchro monsters. Then u have a couple options. U can get the drag unity legion if u want a drag unity deck but the problem is too many drag unity monsters are secret rare or really expensive so I wouldn't recomend it. The Marik structure deck is good cuz it's really generic and you can make a pretty good grave keeper deck out of it and it has mirror force. I would advise getting two of those. Honestly, u have to buy boosters. That's how konami makes money. There no such thing as a one buy package otherwise no one would buy boosters and konami would go broke. Also if u want to buy only one starter deck then I would just get the machine mayhem deck and be happy with that.

Am I pregnant? Two positve results, two negatives?

I had a period over 3 weeks ago but I am not completely sure, it could be four weeks. My periods have always been irregular so I don't take note of days etc. My last period (whenever it was) I bled for a few days then stopped, then a few days later I started bleeding again but only for 2/3 days. I am not on the pill and I have been having unprotrected sex with my partner so I decided to do a pregnancy test on tuesday, the result was unclear, when I first looked I presumed it was negative but then I looked closer and there was another line it was extremely faded. The next night I bought two clear blue tests, the first one I did, didn't work. I did the secnd test the following evening and this came back positive but also with an extremely faded line. The day after this I went and bought two digital clear blue tests which both came out with negative results. So I went to the chemist, when I told her aout the positive tests she was determined yu can't get a false positive result but then when I showed her the digital clear blue she told me that I should just go with that result because they are very good tests. I am so very confused, I have 'period' pains today, like I am going to come on my period. I just need advice! Help!

Should My Mother Seek The Help Of A Professional?

My 22 year old cousin tragically passed away of a drug overdoes nearly two months ago, just a day after returning from a month long stint in rehab, which obviously didn’t do her much good. My mother was hit particularly hard by this sad and very unfortunate yet preventable occurrence, even though she and my cousin were never really that close. Their relationship was amiable and they would speak to one another at family parties, but they rarely if ever saw each other or interacted outside of family functions. Even two months later my mother is still shocked and saddened by the death of my cousin she can’t believe it, is angry and outraged and blames herself for not doing more to help prevent it from occurring even though there’s nothing she could have done. She also seems to be angry and resentful toward other family members including members of my cousins immediate family who although still grieving for her loss have sort of started to put the tragic event behind them and move on with their lives. I’m wondering if perhaps it would be a good idea to suggest that my mother see a professional to help her get over her grief? She talks about what happened daily as though it just occurred and seems depressed, shocked, angry and has trouble sleeping.

A mom who worries too much?

I used to frequently dream of different ways my babies (now 2 and 3 years old) could pass away. Right before I gave birth to my first son, a friends baby sadly passed away from SIDS. After I had my son, I would stay up all night checking and making sure he was still breathing. It's been 3 years and I'm happy to say it has slowed down. I think every parent has anxiety about these things, you just need to learn how to control and deal with it. Maybe talking to other parents will help. I just kept telling myself that I didn't want to be that overprotective mom that kids grow up hating. I will always worry about them, but they need to experience life.

Can someone critique the prologue to my story?

This has some good elements but this is too random for a prologue. Especially if this person is not a major character, why put this before your story? If this scene can be put somewhere into your story, why use it as a prologue? This is a great, descriptive scene but it isn't a good opening to a story. A beginning has to grab the reader's attention. A prologue should only be used to explain back story that can't be fit neatly into your plot. This is a good scene...It just doesn't have enough to grab the attention of the reader. It sounds like a fashion magazine article and there isn't any feeling to the characters. This is good but with some work this could be great. Best of luck!

Advice needed on selling a horse?

Ok I have a real dilemma here. I have been looking after a horse after he was tragically responsible for the death of a young family member. It was a terrible accident and the horse is in no way bad!, anyway it received alot of press attention at the time so I have been working away with him under the owners wishes. They have now said they want to him to be sold as they feel it is too hard to keep him. Why do my 2 puppies gang up on our older dog?

EX cards are forbidden in tournaments as they are from an older set. Even some of your trainer and energy cards might be quite old and forbidden. Go to http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Modified_format_(TCG) as it shows you which cards are legal. So for example, your RR Jolteon can be used in tournaments because it's newer (made more recently). Your Flareon EX can't be used because EX cards are quite old (made some time ago). Basically, the newer the card, the longer it will be able to be used in tournaments. That link I gave you showed an explanation on what you were exactly confused about on the older sets. That is Pokemons version of a ban list. Usually not how good a card is, but how old it is. Hope this helped!

I am not sure why you are having so much trouble - you have the MLK quotes - have you read any quotes by Malcolm X? In general Malcolm X was more militant then Dr. King. King advocated non-violent resistance to injustice(as a result alot of his followers ended up in jail), while Malcolm X advocated potential violent resistance - but mostly encouraged his followers to be assertive, intelligent, and responsible. He was a Nation of Islam minister and followed principles of the Quaran. Dr. King was a evangelical Christian - both used their faith to promote their actions in the civil rights movement. Both were assasinated by individuals who felt threatened by their actions and words. You should do fine - especially if it is only a paragraph. Contrast their styles, religion, and means of resistance - and you should be able to write a good pragraph. Hope this helps.

Is it legal to refuse to let students take the Regents as a punishment?

My private school has this rule that if you come late you have to stay for detention. When finals and regents come they say that you have to pay it all off at a rate of $4.00 an hour. This makes some people owe up to $200.00 if they had some kind of family tragedy or something and forgot to bring a note. Anyway, their rule says that if you don't sit all of your detention or pay it all off then you can't take the Regents. As far as I know this is illegal. If anybody can verify this by telling me where it says it in law that would be great. So, can a school refuse to let students take the Regents (or any other state mandated test) as a punishment?

When i look at he state of the middle east and all its chaos, I can't understand why the US gov and Americans support Israel so much. Personally i feel it has to do with religion and Americans being uninformed. Well, I dated this boy from April of 09 until February of 10 but we continued talking off and on until October 10. At the beginning of November, he got this girlfriend.. And, I mean whatever I understand that some things that I did shouldn't have been done, so no reprimanding is needed. But, one day I made my facebook status aimed towards her, basically calling her less attractive than I. :p but, someone commented it saying "why do all of your statuses seemed geared towards people girlfriends lately?" and she commented it saying "oh don't worry, she's talking about me." and we got into an argument and my ex got involved and from then on he and she BOTH started arguments to upset me, and they were extremely cruel. He'd say things like, "You're the biggest mistake I ever made" and he'd call me names and stuff, and I've had bouts with depression, and I've attempted suicide 3 times, and he would say things like "You don't even know how to kill yourself properly" and well, around the beginning of February 11, this year, I tried again and got sent away for a while. When I came home, my friend told me my ex came running over to her house when he saw on my facebook that people were saying they missed me and to get better, and he asked where I was and if I was okay. so, I texted him saying that I was fine and we started chatting and he said he was sorry for everrrrything that had happened with us and he was still dating that girl from November, and he sent me a song via youtube called "In View" by The Tragically Hip, and the first lyrics are "I love you, you know I do." and we'd always send each other songs to describe how we felt when we were together, and he had me promise not to tell anyone abut us talking, because our parents don't let us talk to each other after everything that happened with us. So, we hung out a few days later, but right before we were going to hang out, his girlfriend broke up with him. Earlier in the week he'd been telling me he had wanted to break up with her because she was just mean and he didn't like her, but he was visibly shaken while we were together. And he didn't really talk much about it, and he didn't want me to leave and I asked him if he honestly truly cared about me or if it was a game and he INSISTED he did and that he didn't care about the other girl because he wanted it to be over anyway. From the Wednesday we hung out until maybe the next Monday, he ignored me COMPLETELY, and got back together with her on the Saturday that he was ignoring me. Now, before he started dating this girl, whenever I texted him or anything, he'd reply quickly, so that is what I was used to with him. Now, we continued talking as basically just friends from that Monday til April. April 1st, it kind of went back to almost normal. April 7th, which would have been our two year anniversary, (and yes we did keep track of dates closely, both of us) he broke up with his girlfriend that very day and texted me telling me he did so, and I immediately burst into sobs :p but, since we really broke up, I've had no clue how he honestly 100% felt about me because it changed daily. So, I'm a very paranoid person, and when he doesn't reply to me, I get really worried and text him a lot more and get clingy when we aren't even together and he gets SO annoyed by it, but he doesn't say anything mean or anything, he just tells me to calm down and that he doesn't hate me. As far as I know, he isn't talking to his ex anymore, and sometimes when we talk it's honestly like nothing bad ever happened and we're so happy and fluid together, but as soon as he stops replying, I freak. What do I do? Does he still love me? Does he care? I can't just move on, it isn't that easy when you have yourself set that this is the person for you. Some of my friends say he might be using me, but he isn't sexual like that and if he were using me, if anything it'd just be to have control over something and have someone love you constantly. But, he denies that every time I ask and he says he honestly cares about me. What do you think, is this all a game or is he confused, or does he really care and love me?

Please help, close friend moved away?

I have a old friend who moved away just last year. when we were little, we were best friends. We were good friends for a while after that, then we slowly drifted apart. When everyone quit a small team that kept us together and brought us memories, we barely saw each other. Later, her mother passed away, and her family was in a bad place. That was about 3 years ago, and now she has moved away. I made a point to see her before she left, and when i hugged her goodbye it was full of many old memories and regrets that we tragically grew apart. I cry just thinking of that. I do not know why, but sometimes i cry a ton over her, it feels to me that she passed away too. Before she left, when i barely saw her, she had gotten really popular and now has 3 or 4 really good best friends. I feel so regretful but also like i could not have stopped the drift. I don't know, how do I try and get back in touch in a non-creepy way? Should I even get back in touch? Plz help
