I need help for an essay on China?

I have to write an essay on if the Communist Party had lost the Mandate from Heaven. Agree or disagree. I'm leaning towards more of the fact that they did loose it, but I need specific details on how they did (i.e Tiananmen square, famine, etc) I need a few more details on negative things of the communist rule.
